Guidance program Family Day 2007

It's 1 plus am in the morning and I just finished sorting out some details for a youth program that's taking place tomorrow. My part of the game is an amazing race kind of thing. It should be fun for them and I believe for us as well. It feels good to be back volunteering and to be in the organizing committee.

Let's hope for good weather tomorrow.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The weather didn't turn out well. Drizzles started early morning and it lasted through the afternoon. It stops a while and come back again. It was unpredictable. Afternoon games were badly affected because of the bad weather.

However, despite the hiccups caused by the bad weather, the GP Family day turned out GREAT!!! Circumstances may not be favourable at times. But often, it's the attitude which we adopt that makes all the difference. This group of volunteers is a fantastic bunch with great positive attitude. Everyone contributed in their own little way which leads to the success of yet another event.

I thank God for leading me to volunteering work through SMP. I am truly glad to be part of this new volunteer family and certainly looking forward to contributing more in their future activities.
