2007 Resolutions Revisited

I have not had the habit of making resolutions. Simply because i do not plan ahead for the future. But looking back, i can't say what are my accomplishment in 2006. Even if i had made some significant decisions, they were kind of on impulse.

This year, i strive to live out a more orderly life. I want to have a clearer picture of my path in 2007. Here goes:
1) Follow a regular exercise regime
2) Attend church regularly
3) Be involved in a cell group which will help me walk closer to the Lord
4) Play my part to further foster family relations
5) Diligently practise drum
6) Spend quality time with pple who matters

Above is my resolution entry for year 2006 which I blogged one year ago on my old blog. Looking back, I believed some were achieved while others were given less priority and hence procrastinated till now.

Let's scrutinize every one of them the engineer way :)

1) Follow a regular exercise regime
Yes and No.
Signed up for Standard Chartered 21km run and accomplished it. But no gradual training was drafted out and followed, hence did not achieve the initial idea of building up a regular jogging regime.
Gotten myself a California Fitness membership but not disciplined enough to attend on a regular basis.

2) Attend church regularly
Yes. Glad to say I have been attending Sunday service on a regular basis. Also thank God my parents came to know and no harsh objections to me attending services. God's grace!

3) Be involved in a cell group which will help me walk closer to the Lord
Yes. This was something which I have been praying much this whole year, especially the second part of the year. I attended a few groups just to see where I can possibly belong to. It certainly takes much courage to enter a group and build bonds. But God answers my prayer and I found one which I believe would help me in my Christian walk.

4) Play my part to further foster family relations
Yes & No. I definitely have been trying thou at times when it gets tiring, I just Bo Chap. R
elationship with my Dad can definitely be improved.

5) Diligently practise drum
Yes & No. My passion for drumming remain relatively strong the whole year and I splurged on an electronic drum set in November. Despite so, I haven't been practicing as much as I can. Have been missing a few drum lessons as well.

6) Spend quality time with pple who matters
Yes. I do not have the widest circle of friends. All around me are people whom matters to me. And so they are the ones whom I usually hang out with. Been a decent year for friendship.
