After consulting my drum teacher, it doesn't seems to be a wise idea to get an acoustic drum set factoring in many consideration. My original idea of building a platform to reduce the bass vibration may not work as well. For now, i am setting my sight on this Yamaha DTXplorer.
Pros: I will have the luxury of jamming with my drum even in the wee hours of the night should I can't get to sleep. With the help of a headphone.
Cons: Lack of feel unlike the real acoustic drum set.
