The thing on everyone's mind seems to be on this. Ever since the nomination day, i have seen the candidates in my SMC ward doing their rounds. And I have the opportunity to see both party's candidate out & about.
One was at the train station greeting the morning working crowd, did house visitation which we weren't home and on a truck, with the loudhailer on, making their round. The other party was making their round to coffee shop shaking hands with the uncle and aunties in the morning. Both ladies candidates by the way. I have not got to hear any of their rally, and i wonder on what basis will i make this vote now.
Its labour day and having 3 days of holiday seems lgood. But not having any plans made is wasting such time away. Well, in fact there can be a lot of things to get done, but not having the discipline to do them. Sorting out my room, repairing my leaking marine tank, practicing drums, reading bible.... tons of things. I need to learn to get down to do these things.
As there is no car this weekend, all the more restricted in the things i can do. Taking the public transport is now quite a hassle, especially going to inaccessible and far places. Learning to appreciate my car more now.
Heading off to service in a while. Happy Labour Day =)
