I re-visited some of my previous entries and realized I have come a long way. This blog must have been at least about 2 plus years old. My entries, especially the ones labeled under 'Faith' gave some evidences that i have been moving along my spiritual walk this while. For example, however slow and procrastinating I had been, I finally went for a proper drum audition at my church and got a super good mentor, Leon, to coach me in my drumming. He has plans for me to start serving in June. Wow... i have never envisioned myself to be really in the worship band despite me saying I want to join. But God has paved the way and used the little faith and effort to make all these possible. Praises to you Lord. I had better diligently practise more as they are really lacking in musicians. People, if you have been in your church for some time now, but have not started serving in a ministry, pray about it and get into a ministry you would like to.
On another note, work as a Personal Banker is going on just well. There are stressful times and happy times. But as my colleague advised me, pacing yourself is a better way than competing against everyone out there. Set yourself a target and consistently hit it. Then shift the target higher gradually. That way, you will improve overtime. I found this to be good advice. In addition, I need to remember that God is Jehovah Jireh. He provides. I need to have faith in Him.
Well, heading off to rest soon. It has been a fulfilling Sunday. Went on a Ubin trip, washed my car, ironed clothes, had family dinner and even found time to blog. Nice to know the weekend was not wasted.
